Is there a noise ordinance?

Yes. The noise ordinance for outside the venue is 10pm. Inside the venue is 11pm.

Is there a rain backup plan in place?

We can accommodate up to 300 guests utilizing our Lodge and wrap-around porch! Tents can also be utilized by a licensed and insured rental company.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Cedar Lodge on Honey Creek has an alcohol license and will provide this service to you. We will work together to find the best selections for your budget!

Do we need event insurance?

Cedar Lodge on Honey Creek provides event insurance for the couple, however, any outside vendor will need to provide a COI for the event.


Can my family and I set up everything the Friday we check in?

Yes, absolutely! We encourage it! Less stress on your big day!

Are any linens included, such as for the cake or buffet tables?

We provide all linens for buffet tables and the cake table we normally use is a beautiful wood piece and doesn’t need to be covered.

In the event of rain, will tents be provided?

We partner with Beachview Event Rentals & Design. Tents can be provided for an additional fee.

If we do rehearsal dinner on property would I provide drinks, plates, napkins, etc and would we be able to bring our own alcohol?

We would provide everything. We’d also provide the alcohol and could build you a package for that.

Will bartenders and food servers be provided?

Yes! We have all that included with our catering menu and bar menus.

Are cocktail tables included, and if so how many and any linens for them? If provided but no linens, would I be able to set them up on the Friday before and they’d just be moved to their spots?

We have high top tables and linens too! Have several different color options depending on your color scheme. 

We’d take care of moving everything around, all you would need to do is decorate!

Can we do sparklers, artificial flower petals, real flower petals, any of that on property?

Sparklers are a yes and they make pictures SO cute! We have sparkler stands as well! Artificial flower petals are only allowed inside (no confetti) and real flower petals are good outside.

Do I provide anything for the bar?

No, we have it all covered!

Is there a food/bar minimum price we must meet?

Nope! We will build the food and bar plan that works for you!
