Earning a degree from The New England Culinary Institute in Vermont, Dave instantly sharpened his skills around New York City; serving under top chefs who prided themselves on training the next generation. In 2000, Dave made his way to the Golden Isles and opened Halyards on St. Simons. Going on to open Tramici in 2006, Dave continued his expansion with the most recent opening of La Plancha, serving Latin street fare to celebrate his Colombian heritage.
Working closely with local fishermen and farmers, Halyards Catering demonstrates that the best ingredients make a tremendous difference in food quality.
